Bio
What I Do
I am primarily a guitarist and bassist. I also sing. I enjoy playing just about every style of music; jazz, rock , classical, blues, bluegrass, country, Americana.
I enjoy playing with a wide variety of musicians and bands in and around the Atlanta, Ga area.
Olde Dog - Olde Dog is a popular original acoustic rock band featuring Bradley Smith, Nelson Nolen, Morgan Baruzzini, Greg Haugh and me. I play upright bass in this band. We play frequently at Smith's Olde Bar, The Redlight Cafe, Ribs Etc, local festivals and lots of private parties.
The J'ham Band - I have a classic rock/jam rock cover band called The J'ham Band that plays songs by the Stones, Dylan, Van Morrison, Allman Brothers, Santana, the Grateful Dead and many others. I play guitar and sing in this band.
Classical Guitar - I play classical guitar both solo and with chamber music ensembles. I play frequently for wedding ceremonies, small parties and restaurants.
Acoustic - One of my favorite things to do is play acoustic singer/songwriter music. That would be things like Paul Simon, James Taylor, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Gordon Lightfoot etc. I do this solo as well as with duos and trios.
Jazz - I also play jazz. I like many styles of jazz from traditional Wes Montgomery style to modern fusion styles (Metheny, Stern, Scofield) and I am also starting to work on a jazz group that will play pop-influenced jazz in the style of players like Earl Klugh or Lee Ritenour. Some of Pat Metheny's music might also be included in this genre.
I also do lots of freelance gigs. The following are some of the people that I have recorded and performed with.
